Upgrade To PSPgo and Get Three Free Games

If you have lots of UMD games and were struggling  to find a reason to upgrade to the new PSP go because you don’t want re purchase all your old games, well Sony have thrown a sweetener into the works.

Sony have announced that anyone with existing UMD games who want to upgrade to the PSPgo out 1st October, will receive three FREE full game downloads

The PSPgo Rewards program will involve registering a PSPgo on PSN, then logging on to PSN with an existing PSP with a UMD in the drive, which allows you to download a special PSPgo theme and then presents you with a voucher via email for use with the PSPgo.

Eurogamer report that The voucher will be redeemable for three of 17 available titles, which will include Killzone: Liberation, SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3, WipEout Pure, Everybody’s Golf, echochrome, Buzz!: Brain Bender, Buzz!: Master Quiz, LocoRoco and Patapon,

PSPgo Rewards will be available from October 1 until March 31 2010 and is open to people with any existing PSP model and at least one UMD who buy and register a PSPgo during that timeframe.

Sony To Launch 250GB PS3 Slim’s

Sony have announced that they plan to launch a series of Playstation 3 Bundles with a 250gb HDD and a selection off accessories and games.

The first to launch on October 1st (the same day as the PSPgo)  will be the 250gb PS3 Slim  with choice off 2 Platinum Titles or inFamous

On October 16th the range will grow with Uncharted 2 thrown into the mix, and on October 19 a pack containing Wolverine, Batman: The Dark Knight and a Blu-ray remote will join the bundles, Sony has confirmed that they will retail in the UK at GBP 284.99

New DSi Colours For Europe

Nintendo has announced that three new DSi colours will be available across Europe from the end of October. The metallic blue, light blue and red consoles will be released on October 23rd and will come pre loaded with Flipnote Studio and features that allow you yo upload photos direct to Facebook.

In addition, users that access the DSi Shop with their DSi before March 31 2010 will receive 1000 Nintendo DSi Points for free.

The DSi is currently only availabe in black or white accross europe, altho other versions have been released in Japan and the US.

Another 250gb “Super Elite” Announced

Forza 3

Microsoft have announced another 250gb Xbox 360, nicknamed the “super elite” console this time to coincide with the launch of Forza Motorsport 3.

Forza Motorsport 3 Super Elite will be released on October 23 and comes with a standard edition of the game, the 250GB HDD, headset and two controllers, and retail for £249 in the UK.

No images off the console have been revealed, but it is logical to speculate that the console will be themed around forza 3 the same ways the Modern Warfare 2 console, that was announced yesterday is.

PES 2010 Demo This Thursdays

The long awaited demo of Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 10 , will land around the world  on September 17th

The demo will be available to PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and PC users, and showcases the full game’s Exhibition mode.

Play as club sides Liverpool, or Barcelona, or the Spanish, Italian, French and German national sides. In a 5 Min Match against a friend or the CPU

The demo lands just a week after the FIFA 10 demo but will give users longer to play with before the release off the full game on October 23rd
