Atari and Cryptic Studios have just told us that the game has now gone gold and the open beta is available to all.  The game itself is due for release next month and features a stunning amount of characters for you to battle online in this MMO.  To find out how to get involved in the open beta head on over to FilePlanet.com.

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has just announced that DC Comics’ have just picked up a license to create a comic based on Modern Warfare 2.  The comic will be written and drawn by David Lapham and will be 6 issues long but a release date has yet to be confirmed but we are suspectin a November launch to coincide alongside the release of the game.

We have just heard that both Diablo III and Starcraft II will be playable at this years GamesCom in Germany which, takes place next month in Cologne.  Recently Starcraft II was put back till sometime in 2010 so if like us, you want to play Starcraft II or Diablo III get yourself over to Germany in a few weeks.
