‘Toys R Us’ start game trade-in program

ToysRUs

Back in March, Toys R Us were testing a trade-in program with games, and now it has been proved successful as the retailer is launching the service now to any packaged game.

Unlike its competitors, the Toys R Us program accepts any game in its original packaging, meaning you can trade in an Atari 2600 or Dreamcast game for store or online credit.

This could be a real boost for gamers, as eBay is really the only recognisable place where you can take your old consoles and games for store credit, with the exception of independent game stores.

Getting that rare game for the SNES could just get that little bit easier now…
