And the Best Selling Xbox 360 Game of 2009 is…

January 14, 2010 by Thomas Mulrooney

Well, take a wild guess?

ELSPA has confirmed that, yes you guessed it; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the best selling Xbox 360 game during 2009 in the UK. It has also won the prize of all-formats and PS3 best seller of the year, so it has pretty much covered all bases.

On top of that the game is said to have grossed over $1 billion worth of sales throughout the world, which is staggering considering the game only came out in November. Whatver you may think about Activision, they damn well know how to hype a game.

Here’s the full 360 top five best selling games:

  1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  2. FIFA 10
  3. Forza Motorsport 3
  4. Assassin’s Creed II
  5. Halo 3: ODST

Call to Doty should never have been marketed. The controls are to hard to use. They are unnatursl and cannot be rembered. The people who wrote this game should never be allowed to write another game.

Call to Doty is not a game, and the rest of what you said doesn’t make much more sense either.

And the controls are not “unnatrsl” and are pretty easy to remember.

But yes, the last point you make is a good one. They made a game that broke all kinds of sales records. They should be banned from making more of these terrible games…
