Yesterday we mentioned that the new Borderlands DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, would be out on Xbox Live today. Unfortunately this is no longer the case, with the release date instead being moved to tomorrow.

No reason has been given, but AceyBongos announced the move on his Twitter.

So looks like the new Borderlands DLC will be hitting tomorrow after all – keep an eye on the man himself over at @GeneralKnoXX – @AceyBongos

General Knoxx himself also had this to say:

Well, time tables got all moved around. Looks like the invasion is on tomorrow. Be seeing you (and killing you!) then. – @GeneralKnoXX

24 hours is no big deal, and you can look forward to some mid-week Borderlands fun sometime tomorrow. The PC and PSN releases are still set for Thursday.

Just a heads up that the next piece of Borderlands DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, will be released tomorrow on Xbox Live. PC and PSN will get the content on Thursday.

The DLC will set you back 800 MS points on XBL, and $8.99 on PC and PSN. The latter amount is in dollars because the UK pricing is yet to be announced, but we’ll be sure to find out before Thursday.

The new content raises the level cap to 61, along with new enemies and locations to plunder.

If you’ve been wanting to play Borderlands first piece of downloadable content, ‘The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned’, but only have the game for the PC then you’re in luck. The content, previously only available for PS3 and Xbox 360, is now live on Gearbox’s site and the ever excellent Steam.

The content has you travelling to an area known as Jakobs Cove, where Dr. Ned has transformed workers there into freak abominations. It offers about six hours worth of play and costs £6.30.
